Blueline Achievements
Blueline has sustained its vitality through many significant achievements: by earning generous grants, by maintaining a strong list of subscribers, and by working with many supportive regional book merchants and advertisers. We are also grateful for the scores of acknowledgments from continuously successful writers and artists, many of whom have republished their works independently and/or through excellent small presses. More than a few of our long-time contributors have had their Blueline publications reprinted within renowned anthologies and award-winning books.
Grants
In the last several years, Blueline has earned generous grants from two sources:
-
In 2025, the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP, based in New York City) awarded Blueline a $2500 NYTAP Regrant for capacity-building initiatives, especially for advertising Blueline and updating our website.
-
In 2022, Blueline was awarded a Gilchrist Endowment for Applied Learning Grant for $20,000 from SUNY Potsdam’s Lougheed Center for Applied Learning (LoCAL). This generous grant has provided financial support for faculty-sponsored applied-learning experiences for 18 interns since 2022. The Gilchrists’ generosity continues to support Blueline’s excellent internship programs and will do so well into the future.
