Nonfiction

Please keep nonfiction essays below 3,500 words. Include your name, your email address, and the title of the essay on the first page, and then number each subsequent page. You may send a maximum of two essays per year.

 

Please send all nonfiction in double-space format, with standard 12pt fonts.

 

Do not include footnotes or endnotes. All content that’s relevant to your essay should be incorporated directly into the work itself. Please make sure all quotations are clearly attributed to an author and their specific work. If you quote from multiple secondary sources, place a Work Cited list at the end of your essay, using MLA format.
