Procedures for Registering for Internships through LoCAL and Handshake

 

After the Site Supervisor has approved a student’s eligibility, they’ll then need to register for internship credit. They can do this by visiting LoCAL’s website and the Handshake portal specifically.

Please note: In order to complete the registration, you'll need a syllabus to upload to Handshake. The Site Supervisor and your Faculty Sponsor will help you with designing a syllabus.
